Description

  • Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, finished formulations, and customer-returned products using validated software and standard operating procedures
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and test stands to ensure proper operation and execute preventative maintenance procedures
  • Compile and review data obtained during biochemical assays, stability programs, and formulation studies to ensure absolute compliance with specifications and report abnormalities
  • Participate in investigations, summaries, and reports, while actively contributing to special projects focused on analytical problem-solving and process improvement
  • Revise and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and potentially assist in developing new testing methods as required
  • Collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders to achieve daily quality objectives and uphold the integrity of the company's quality system

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency required (Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred)
  • 1+ year of experience working in a laboratory, technical, or scientific environment, ideally within a regulated industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and exercise sound judgment within defined practices
  • Proficient computer skills, including standard software packages (Word and Excel), with exposure to SAP or Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) considered a plus
  • Thorough understanding of appropriate laboratory safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining quality standards
  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies is preferred
