Description

  • Market Development
    • Identify and develop new opportunities across key customer segments—universities, research institutes, clinical labs, hospitals, and government stakeholders.
    • Drive demand creation and adoption of sequencing and genomic solutions in oncology, infectious disease, population genomics, and reproductive health.
    • Build strong KOL and stakeholder engagement to position Illumina as the partner of choice.
    • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory landscape to anticipate challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Channel Partner Management
    • Own the relationship with channel partners in Indonesia, ensuring alignment with Illumina’s growth objectives.
    • Set clear performance expectations, review execution against agreed plans, and hold partners accountable to sales targets.
    • Assess distributor capabilities (coverage, technical support, service delivery) and address gaps through enablement and escalation.
    • Ensure partners comply with Illumina’s standards, including brand representation, ethics, and compliance.
  • Commercial Execution
    • Own and deliver the revenue plan for Indonesia.
    • Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility through SFDC.
    • Support partners on complex deals, tenders, and account strategies.
    • Leverage regional marketing and technical teams to localize and execute campaigns effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc/PhD) is an advantage.
  • 8+ years of commercial experience in life sciences tools, genomics, diagnostics, or related fields.
  • Strong track record in market development and demand generation in Southeast Asia, ideally with genomics or molecular diagnostics exposure.
  • Demonstrated success managing distributors/channel partners and delivering consistent growth.
  • Familiarity with government and healthcare procurement processes in Indonesia.
  • Fluent English required; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is an advantage.
